Save the World at connect2earth, and you don’t have to be a Superhero to do it.

If you don’t already know, connect2earth is a video, image or text upload site by WWF in an attempt to spread the words on globalwarming, soon-to-be extinct creatures and appreciation of the nature and the globe. It’s basically anything to do with “globalsaving”.

epic video about how superheros aint what they are supposed to be.[the link to the video and what you can do to save the World]

Anyway, here’s what i got from WWF in my email,

    Dear fupper,

Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Wonder Woman and Spiderman.

Superheros have been saving our world over and over again for the past 60 or more years. Whether it is fighting super villains, natural disasters or monsters from another dimension, they always seem to come good in the end.

But in real life you don’t need to be a superhero to save the planet. Simple, small, every day actions can make a real difference. And best of all they can be really easy! Whether that is leaving your car at home or switching to energy efficient light bulbs… Every little bit counts.

Watch our new “Superheros” video and start changing the world today

And now you can do something even more amazing. This October world leaders will be meeting in Barcelona, Spain, to discuss the pressing issues facing the planet today. And we want you and your ideas to be there. One lucky person will travel to Barcelona and tell the world just how important our planet is to us. How important we find the variety of life that lives on it. The vistas we see. The sites we marvel at. The things we care about.

All we need are your ideas, so tell us (and the world) what you think!

Watch the video and find out what you can do

    Sincerely,

    WWF International

P.S. Please forward the video to your friends and family. We really need to spread the word so every extra person really counts!

If you think you are interested in the Barcelona trip and a trip to influence others, find out more here.
If you think you want to do something great,(like the 12 year old Severn Cullis-Suzuki who silenced the UN for 5minutes with her impactful speech-video below-) now’s the chance. If age don’t already matters, being a superhero or not, it wasn’t even a deciding factor right from the start.

“At the age of nine, she founded the Environmental Children’s Organization (ECO), a group of children dedicated to learning and teaching other kids about environmental issues.” What a kid!

btw, here’s me on connect2earth :)
