So, this German guy went to shop for his grocery with his family… in his Tank-like vehicle named Fox FV721 Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle.

He even has a kiddie seat fitted for his 2 year old son for the grocery trip. The kid must feel really safe inside as the vehicle can absorb bullet damage and probably split any cars that is in the way, into half.

“The overall size is not too unreasonable either, being narrower than a Hummer H1, and shorter than a regular Chrysler 300 sedan. Shoeneich says it’s tricky to maneuver, especially with it’s non functioning gun sticking out and lousy outward visibility.”

I wonder though, with the recent exorbitant oil prices, will he be able to handle the prices with this 6 ton vehicle? (Many in the world are already ditching their SUVs, and tihs guy bought a heavy military vehicle.)

At US$47,376, it’s quite a steal, considering the amount of money you might need to afford for a bullet proof Rolls Royce Phantom. Anyone wants one?

It’s rather fast too, but will probably lose in a drag race.
