Its on now, and it’s breathtaking.

With the unveiling of a large olympic logo and some dancers in mid air, it all starts with fireworks trailing all the way in the city of Beijing and end at the Bird Nest.
A little girl sang with a small display going on and the process of flying the China flag, and then everyone was treated to a display of fireworks that cover such a huge area that i was really impressed.
Then the story for the night unfolds with a video of traditional scroll with a display of materials that are handmade. The video ends with a massive blank piece of scroll which dancer/painters paint it over a mass display. The background music was played on the spot with the instrument, Zither.
Confucius disciples takes the stage(i think 300 of them) and display chinese writings with man controlled 3d blocks.(its in the leaked video)
Mass displays abound, and i have probably just seen the biggest martial arts display ever in my life.
And now, the previous painting drawn is completed by kids, beautifully done.
They are now celebrating their recent manned flight to the moon, with a futuristic display of astronauts. Stunning.
One World One Family.
And now the March Pass. (Wow, waited so long for the Singapore Flag)
And we have the China entourage which is as long as the Americans(i think) as the final olympic team for the March. (China’s pretty impressive to have 1 representative for 1932 Olympics and so many in 2008 huh?)
And the “phoenix” finally lights the Olympic Torch.
The mysterious bearer is Li Ning.
And i really love the painting that was made out of the whole Opening ceremony through the 10,000 athletes footprints, the children and the crayons and the dancers/painters with their artsy painting style. What a rich showcase of Chinese cultures through the mass displays too.
Ok, back to work :\
