For Transfer Rebates..
Transfer rebates will increase from 25 cents to 40 cents. SBS Transit will bear
two-thirds of the 15-cents increase.

Discount for Morning Off-peak Travel
A discount of 10¢ on fares will be given to adults and senior citizens who begin their journey from a SMRT MRT station outside the city area and exit at a SMRT MRT station within the city area before 7.30am from Mondays to Saturdays, except public holidays.
Stations within the city area are:
NS22 Orchard
EW11 Lavender
NS23 Somerset
EW12 Bugis
NS24 Dhoby Ghaut
EW15 Tanjong Pagar
NS25 / EW13 City Hall
EW16 Outram Park
NS26 / EW14 Raffles Place
Note: Too bad if you live in any of the above “city” area. Don’t wake up so early as thre wont be any discounts.

Note: I think, many credit card holders actually drives. They should make it a debit card.

For Taxis, there are no rebates and such, only price increases.
But do take note of the pointers(or rather, hidden prices) below..
- ERP tolls for taxis (Monday to Friday)
- Each time you hop into a taxi at Changi Airport = S$5
- Each time a Premier cab is hired through phone = S$8.00(TIBS) S$6.00(Comfort)
- Each time a station wagon/London cab is hired = S$1
- Each time a passenger pays by credit card = 10% of fare
