I think it’s a rather cool footage. Not often do you see footage of the “retro” Singapore.

In 1938 when Singapore was still a British Colony, the footage shows a lively scene. While i think some of the stuff narrated by the dude in the video is rubbish and is probably propaganda or marketing for Singapore as a hub for trade, the footage is still a good one into looking at how was life like for our ancestors(If they work around the cityhall or boatquay area). Not much of the kampong stuffs though.
