Blue Moon by Frank Sinatra
Blue moon, you saw me standin’ alone
Without a dream in my heart, without a love of my own
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for
You heard me sayin’ a prayer for
Someone I really could care for
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper “please adore me”
And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold
Blue moon, now I’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper “please adore me”
And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold
Blue moon, now I’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon, now I’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

Ain’t that a kick in the head? by Dean Martin
How lucky can one guy be?
I kissed her and she kissed me
Like the fella once said,
“Ain’t that a kick in the head?”
The room was completely black
I hugged her and she hugged back
Like the sailor said, quote,
“Ain’t that a hole in the boat?”
My head keeps spinnin’
I go to sleep and keep grinnin’
If this is just the beginnin’
My life is gonna be beautiful
I’ve sunshine enough to spread
It’s just like the fella said
“Tell me quick
Ain’t love a kick in the head?”
Like the fella once said,
“Ain’t that a kick in the head?”
Like the sailor said, quote,
“Ain’t that a hole in the boat?”
My head keeps spinnin’
I go to sleep and keep grinnin’
If this is just the beginnin’
My life’s gonna be beautiful
She’s telling me we’ll be wed
She’s picked out a king size bed
I couldn’t feel any better or I’d be sick
Tell me quick, oh ain’t love a kick?
Tell me quick, ain’t love a kick in the head?

Big Iron by Marty Robbins
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him didn’t have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business no one dared to make a slip
for the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
It was early in the morning when he rode into the town
He came riding from the south side slowly lookin’ all around
He’s an outlaw loose and running came the whisper from each lip
And he’s here to do some business with the big iron on his hip
big iron on his hip
In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red
Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead
He was vicious and a killer though a youth of twenty four
And the notches on his pistol numbered one an nineteen more
One and nineteen more
Now the stranger started talking made it plain to folks around
Was an Arizona ranger wouldn’t be too long in town
He came here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead
And he said it didn’t matter he was after Texas Red
After Texas Red
Wasn’t long before the story was relayed to Texas Red
But the outlaw didn’t worry men that tried before were dead
Twenty men had tried to take him twenty men had made a slip
Twenty one would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
The morning passed so quickly it was time for them to meet
It was twenty past eleven when they walked out in the street
Folks were watching from the windows every-body held their breath
They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death
About to meet his death
There was forty feet between them when they stopped to make their play
And the swiftness of the ranger is still talked about today
Texas Red had not cleared leather fore a bullet fairly ripped
And the ranger’s aim was deadly with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
It was over in a moment and the folks had gathered round
There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground
Oh he might have went on living but he made one fatal slip
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

I’m Movin’ Out by The Roues Brothers
Tell me what’s in a kiss
If your heart’s not in it
We could have wedded bliss
If we’d only begin it
I’m feelin’ low down
You know what I’m talkin’ about
You let the blues move in, now I’m movin’ out
This old house ain’t a home
With no love inside it
We set out pretty strong
Now we just can’t fight it
I’m leavin’ today
I don’t want to argue or shout
You let the blues move in, now I’m movin’ out
What’s the use in buyin’ a car
If you won’t buy gasoline
We used to be two under par
Now we can’t get on the green
I don’t know where it went
But it sure went a-flyin’
Love’s like dough that’s been spent
Now there’s no use a-cryin’
Tell me where can I go
East or west or north or due south
You let the blues move in, now I’m movin’ out
What’s the use in buyin’ a car
If you won’t buy gasoline
We used to be two under par
Now we can’t get on the green
I don’t know where it went
But it sure went a-flyin’
Love’s like dough that’s been spent
Now there’s no use a-cryin’
Tell me where can I go
East or west or north or due south
You let the blues move in, now I’m movin’ out
You let the blues move in, now I’m movin’ out

Home on the Wastes by The Lonesome Drifter
Oh, give me a home where the bighorners roam.
Where the mole rat and the fire gecko play.
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And my skin is not glowing all day.
Home, home on the wastes,
Where the mole rat and the fire gecko play.
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And my skin is not glowing all day.
Where the rads ain’t too high, the water’s not bad,
The radscorps are playful and mild.
Oh, I would not exchange this home on the wastes,
For all the big cities so wild.
Home, home on the wastes.
Where the Master’s great armies once played.
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And my rads are not rising all day.
Home, home on the wastes,
Where the mole rat and the fire gecko play.
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And my skin is not glowing all day.

Heartaches By The Number by Guy Mitchell
Heartaches by the number
Troubles by the score
Every day you love me less
Each day I love you more
Yes, I’ve got heartaches by the number
A love that I can’t win
But the day that I stop counting
That’s the day my world will end
Heartache number one was when you left me
I never knew I could hurt this way
And heartache number two
Was when you came back again
You came back but never meant to stay
Yes, I’ve got
Heartaches by the number
Troubles by the score
Every day you love me less
Each day I love you more
Yes, I’ve got heartaches by the number
A love that I can’t win
But the day that I stop counting
That’s the day my world will end
Heartache number three was when you called me
And said that you were comin’ back to stay
With hopeful heart I waited for your knock on the door
I waited but you must have lost your way
Yes, I’ve got
Heartaches by the number
Troubles by the score
Every day you love me less
Each day I love you more
Yes, I’ve got heartaches by the number
A love that I can’t win
But the day that I stop counting
That’s the day my world will end

Mad About The Boy by Helen Forrest
I’m mad about the boy
And I know it’s stupid to be mad about the boy
I’m so ashamed of it but must admit the sleepless nights
I’ve had about the boy
On the silver screen
He melts my foolish heart in every single scene
Although I’m quite aware that here and there are traces of
The cad about the boy
Lord knows I’m not a fool-girl
I really shouldn’t care
Lord knows I’m not a school-girl
In the flurry of her first affair
Will it ever cloy
This odd diversity of misery and joy
I’m feeling quite insane and young again
And all because I’m mad about the boy
Mad about the boy

Love Me as Though There Were No Tomorrow by Nat King Cole
Love me as though there were no tomorrow
Take me out of this world tonight
Take me; make me forget my sorrow
So when I wake tomorrow, I’ll know our love was right
Kiss me as though it were now or never
Teach me all that a heart should know
Love me as though there were no tomorrow
Oh my darling, love me; don’t ever let me go
Kiss me as though it were now or never
Teach me all that a heart should know
Love me as though there were no tomorrow
Oh my darling, love me; don’t ever let me go

Lone Star by Lost Weekend Western Swing Band
I can see that lone star from a thousand miles away
Calling me back home though I’ve ventured far astray
When I see that beacon shining for me all alone
It calls me back to Texas and to home
Lone star shine down on my home town
Fill my memory light my way
Cattle in the old corral, the open range all ’round
Sunlight and the smell of new mown hay
I remember though I’ve wandered and much happiness I’ve found
Still I wish that I could be back there today
I know my home is waiting for me by the river shore
I know that all the ones I love will welcome me once more
In dreams I see them now though it seems I’m bound to roam
My thoughts are still of Texas and of home
Cattle in the old corral, the open range all ’round
Sunlight and the smell of new mown hay
I remember though I’ve wandered and much happiness I’ve found
Still I wish that I could be back there today
I know my home is waiting for me by the river shore
I know that all the ones I love will welcome me once more
In dreams I see them now though it seems I’m bound to roam
My thoughts are still of Texas and of home

Let’s Ride Into the Sunset Together by Lost Weekend Western Swing Band
I’ve wrangled, and I’ve rambled, and I’ve rodeoed around
I’ve never once thought about settling down
But darlin’, the moment I laid eyes on you
I knew my ramblin’ days were through
Made up my mind a long time ago
When the right man came along, somehow I’d know
Heart as true, eyes as blue, and his smile as wide
As a western sky
Let’s ride into the sunset together
Stirrup to stirrup, side by side
When the day is through, I’ll be here with you
Into the sunset we will ride
I’ll be your cowgirl, you’ll be my cowboy
You’ll be my Dale, I’ll be your Roy
When the day is done, homeward we’ll be wending
Like a movie with a happy ending
Let’s ride into the sunset together
Stirrup to stirrup, side by side
When the day is through, I’ll be here with you
Into the sunset we will ride

I’m So Blue by Katie Thompson
I’m so blue without you
Thought our love was true
Then you found someone new
You love me so but let me go
Now I’ll never know
How our love would go
Waiting, watching the stars up above
Hoping that I could win back your love
I’m so blue without you
Thought our love was true
Then you found someone new
Waiting, watching the stars up above
Hoping that I could win back your love
I’m so blue without you
Thought our love was true
Then you found someone new
Thought our love was true
Then you found someone new
–
In the Shadow of the Valley by Lost Weekend Western Swing Band
In the shadow of the valley
I would like to settle down
Wide open space
Wind on my face
A distant horizon
The moon on the crest
In the shadow of the valley
That I love best
You have always waited for me
And you always will be there
Sage brush and pine
Old friends of mine
A little bit further
I will find my rest
In the shadow of the valley
That I love best
I have wandered many places
But they’re all the same to me
Nowhere I’ve found
To settle down
A little bit further
I’ll find my rest
In the shadow of the valley
That I love best
In the shadow of the valley
That I love best

It’s a Sin by Eddy Arnold
It’s a sin, my darlin’, how I love you
Because I know our love can never be
It’s a sin to keep this memory of you
When silence proves that you’ve forgotten me
The dream I built for us has tumbled
Each promise broken like my heart
It’s a sin, my darlin’, how I love you
So much in love and yet so far apart
It’s a sin to hide behind this heartache
To make believe that I’ve found someone new
It’s a sin to say that I don’t miss you
When people know I’m still in love with you
I’m sure you’re happy with another
Who shares the love I couldn’t win
Why pretend that I can’t live without you
When deep inside I know that it’s a sin
–
It’s a Sin to Tell a Lie by The Ink Spots
Be sure it’s true when you say, “I love you”
It’s a sin to tell a lie
Millions of hearts have been broken
Just because these words were spoken
I love you, yes I do, I love you
If you break my heart I’ll die
So be sure it’s true
When you say I love you
It’s a sin to tell a lie
Be sure it’s true when you say I love ya, honey.
Because you got sense enough to know it’s a sin to tell a lie.
A whole lotta folks’ hearts have done been broken
Just over a whole lotta foolish words that were spoken.
I love you, yes I do, I love you
If you break my heart I’ll die
So be sure it’s true
When you say I love you
It’s a sin to tell a lie
–
Cobwebs and Rainbows by Bruce Isaac
Dust whirls on the plain
Making patterns as we walk down lovers lane
Seems that each new step is somehow preordained
I’ve not traveled this way before
Green clouds in the sky
Seem forever but we know by-and-by
That they fade just like caravans passing by
Love seemed like that before
Since I found you there’s no doubt left in my heart
I’ve cleared all the raiders away
I see it clearly so we don’t need any chart
No prospectors, no mercs
No brahmin-baron jerks
The Tops lights in the night
Shining down upon our love as it takes flight
It just seems that with some passing luck
We might find all that we’ve had before
And, slowly
Now those green clouds and dust whirls
Lights in the sky all real because
It’s not been like this before

Goin’ Under by (Unknown)
I’m going under, getting over you
I’m going under, drowning in deep blue
I’m down so doggone low
I have to look up to see the soles of my shoes
I’m going under, getting over you
For a little while
I thought that I could smile
And everything was rosy and fine
But then it set in
You were leaving
And now I’m going out of my mind
I’m going under, getting over you
I’m going under, drowning in deep blue
I’m down so doggone low
I have to look up to see the soles of my shoes
I’m going under, getting over you
Now I walk around
My heart on the ground
Hurt and lonely since I don’t have you
Barely hanging on
I’m almost gone
And now I wish I hadn’t been untrue
I’m going under, getting over you
I’m going under, drowning in deep blue
I’m down so doggone low
I have to look up to see the soles of my shoes
I’m going under, getting over you
I’m going under, getting over you

Jingle, Jangle, Jingle by The Kay Kyser Orchestra
Yippie yay
There’ll be no weddin’ bells for today
‘Cause I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
Jingle, jangle
As I go ridin’ merrily along
Jingle, jangle
And they sing, “Oh, ain’t you glad you’re single?”
Jingle, jangle
And that song ain’t so very far from wrong
Jingle, jangle
Oh, Lillie Belle
Oh, Lillie Belle
Oh, Lillie Belle
Oh, Lillie Belle
Though I may have done some foolin’
This is why I never fell
‘Cause I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
Jingle, jangle
As I go ridin’ merrily along
Jingle, jangle
And they sing, “Oh, ain’t you glad you’re single?”
Jingle, jangle
And that song ain’t so very far from wrong
Jingle, jangle
(instrumental break)
Oh, I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
As I go ridin’ merrily along
As I go ridin’ merrily along
And they sing, “Oh, ain’t you glad you’re single?”
And they sing, “Oh, ain’t you glad you’re single?”
And that song ain’t so very far from wrong
And that song ain’t so very far from wrong
Oh, Lillie Belle
Oh, Lillie Belle
Though I may have done some foolin’
This is why I never fell
Why I never fell
‘Cause I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
I got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle
As I go ridin’ merrily along
As I go ridin’ merrily along
And they sing, “Oh, ain’t you glad you’re single?”
And they sing, “Oh, ain’t you glad you’re single?”
And that song ain’t so very far from wrong
And that song ain’t so very far from wrong

Johnny Guitar by Peggy Lee
Play the guitar; play it again, my Johnny
Maybe you’re cold, but you’re so warm inside
I was always a fool for my Johnny
For the one they call Johnny Guitar
Play it again
Johnny Guitar
What if you go, what if you stay, I love you
What if you’re cruel, you can be kind I know
There was never a man like my Johnny
Like the one they call Johnny Guitar
There was never a man like my Johnny
Like the one they call Johnny Guitar
Play it again
Johnny Guitar

Why Don’t You Do Right? by Peggy Lee (My Favorite!)
You had plenty money, 1922
You let other women make a fool of you
Why don’t you do right, like some other men do
Get out of here and get me some money, too
You’re sittin’ down wonderin’ what it’s all about
You ain’t got no money, they will put you out
Why don’t you do right, like some other men do
Get out of here and get me some money, too
If you had prepared twenty years ago
You wouldn’t be a-wanderin’ now from door to door
Why don’t you do right, like some other men do
Get out of here and get me some money, too
I fell for your jivin’ and I took you in
Now all you got to offer me’s a drink of gin
Why don’t you do right, like some other men do
Get out of here and get me some money, too
Why don’t you do right, like some other men do
Like some other men do
Just for fun, here’s the modern iteration:

Where Have You Been All My Life? by (Unknown)
Like a shooting star
You appeared before me
Where have you been all my life?
All at once I’ve found
Someone to adore me
Where have you been all my life?
Until the moment we met I had no one to cling to
To be just everything to, to be my own true love
If this is a dream
Let me keep on dreaming
Where have you been all my life?
Until the moment we met I had no one to cling to
To be just everything to, to be my own true love
If this is a dream
Let me keep on dreaming
Where have you been all my life?

Streets of New Reno by The Lonesome Drifter
As I walked out in the streets of New Reno
As I walked out in New Reno one day
I spied a young cowboy all wrapped in white linen
Wrapped in white linen and cold as the clay
“Oh, beat the drums slowly and play the fife lowly
Play the dead march as you bear me along
Take me to the valley and lay the sod o’er me
I’m a young cowboy; I know I’ve done wrong”
“I see by your outfit that you are a cowboy”
These words he did say as I slowly walked by
“Come sit down beside me and hear my sad story
I’m shot in the chest and today I must die”
“Go bring me a cup, a cup of cold water
to cool my parched lips,” the cowboy then said
Before I returned his soul had departed
and gone to the roundup; the cowboy was dead
“Oh, beat the drums slowly and play the fife lowly
Play the dead march as you bear me along
Take me to the valley and lay the sod o’er me
For I’m a young cowboy; I know I’ve done wrong”

Stars of the Midnight Range by Johnny Bond
Stars of the midnight ranges
Shining through the night
Stars of the midnight ranges
Light my way tonight
While my herd is grazin’
Guide them til the dawn
Watch them while I’m sleepin’
Till the stars are gone
Candles up in heaven
Lend your light so strange
Guide my weary dogies
Stars of the midnight range

Something’s Gotta Give by Bing Crosby
When an irresistible force such as you
Meets an old immovable object like me
You can bet just as sure as you live
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
When an irrepressible smile such as yours
Warms an old implacable heart such as mine
Don’t say no, because I insist
Somewhere, somehow, someone’s gonna be kissed
So, en garde, who knows what the fates might have in store?
From their vast mysterious sky?
I’ll try hard ignorin’ those lips that I adore
But how long can anyone try?
Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight it with all of our might
Chances are some heavenly star-spangled night
We’ll find out just as sure as we live
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Fight fight fight it with all of your might
Chances are that some heavenly star-spangled night
We’ll find out just as sure as we live
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Somethin’s gotta give
Aww, let’s tear it up!

Sit and Dream by Pete Thomas
Sleep, go to sleep
Just lay down your weary head
Dream, sweetly dream
Dream about tomorrow instead
Sleep, go to sleep
Whisperin’ a lullaby tune
Dream, sweetly dream
Swinging with the man in the moon
Why don’t you go
Down where the sandman plays
And take it slow
Cause you can doze all day
And don’t you know
That when you finally wake
All your lovely dreams will come true
So just close your eyes
Listen to a sweet lullaby
Sleep, softly sleep
And let the world go by

Orange Colored Sky by Stan Kenton and Nat King Cole
I was walking along, minding my business
When out of an orange-colored sky
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
Wonderful you came by
I was humming a tune, drinking in sunshine
When out of that orange-colored view
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
I got a look at you
One look and I yelled, “Timber
Watch out for flying glass!”
Cause the ceiling fell in and the bottom fell out
I went into a spin and I started to shout
“I’ve been hit, This is it, This is it!”
I was walking along, minding my business
When love came and hit me in the eye
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
Out of an orange-colored sky
One look and I yelled “Timber
Watch out for flying glass!”
Cause the ceiling fell in and the bottom fell out
I went into a spin and I started to shout
“I’ve been hit, this is it, this is it!”
I was walking along, minding my business
When love came and hit me in the eye
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
Out of an orange-colored, purple-striped, pretty green polka-dot sky
Flash! Bam! Alakazam! and goodbye

New Vegas Valley by The Lonesome Drifter
From this wasteland they say you are going
We will miss your bright eyes and sweet smile
For they say you are taking the sunshine
that has brightened our world for a while
So come sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
Just remember the New Vegas valley
and the drifter that loved you so true
For a long time my darling I’ve waited
for the sweet words you never would say
Now at last all my fond hopes have vanished
for they say that you’re going away
So come sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
Just remember the New Vegas valley
and the drifter that loved you so true
By the way, The Lonesome Drifter is an in-game character.
